The beach of Vivero is situated at back of the estuary and it´s the most important in the town and perhaphs it´s the most popular in Galicia.

It´s the only beach in the coast of Lugo. It has soft sand and it is two km in length and 150 metres or 30 metres wide depending on the tides.

There is a beautiful esplanade by the side of the beach with careful gardens that join the beach with the city of Vivero and with the beach of Seiramar ( small beach situated by the side of Covas and it has the same characteristics ) and Sacido.

The beach is endowed with a service area, a municipal park called Pernas Peón to the right to the beach, a first aid post, a camping, hotels, restaurants, inns, pubs, discos, a football pitch and sports centre.
