CELTIC CASTROS
In Vivero there are seven castros ( Castros were walled towns which were situated in high places ) although the most of them are without excavating.
- Castro de Condomiás y Chao de Garita, is located in the parish of Boimente.
- Castro de Pousadoiro, in the parish of Saint Peter.
- Castro da Croa, in the parish of Landrove.
- Castro de Casós, located in Fontecova in Vivero .
- Castro de Sobreviva, in the parish of Galdo.
- Castro de Celeiro, In Celeiro.
- Castro de Faro, in the parish of Faro-Area.
PREHISTORIC SEPULCHRES
- Tesouro, situated in the Cambela Mountain between Valcarría and Fontecova.
- Chao do Tesouro, in the parish of Boimente.
- Chao de Moa, in Viveiro.
- Pedras Brancas de Padrón, in Galdo.
