It´s a Romanesque church built in the middle of the 12th century. It´s one of the most complete urban churches in Galicia
There are two similar towers that flank the entrance to the church : the tower of Campanas ( baroque, 17th century ) and the tower of the Cloth ( 19th century) The inner of the church is a basilica plant with three naves separated by big columns. It´s important to stand out the chapels of Saint Gregorio ( 15th century ) and Rosario ( 18th century) and it´s also important in the tympanum of the north door the gothic carving of Angustias ( 16th century) which was situated until the 19th century in one of the doors of the old wall. In the altarpiece of Amor Hermoso there are some relics of martyr saints that were brought by a jesuit called Juan García Junceda in the 16th century.
It´s also important the Procesional Cross of the 16th century with floral shape and Plateresque leaf motif. Its apse is semicircular with rectangular parts separated by columns and among them there are three artistic windows.
